Steve Gallon
Position: Managing Director
After
30 years of working in the enclosure industry, Steve Gallon, managing
director of Fibox, knows a thing or two about the markets in which he
and his company operates. After qualifying as an electrical engineer,
Steve worked as a design engineer before embarking on a career in
technical sales. Over the years he has gained a broad experience, and
has worked closely, at senior level with a number of the major players
in the enclosures industry.
Steve joined Fibox in 1997 as
managing director and quickly expanded the existing client base within
the OEM and distributor markets, initially in the UK, and latterly in
Europe. The quality of product and the quality of service given is at
the centre of Fibox's business, and Steve is the custodian of Fibox's
core values of integrity , attention to detail and exemplary customer
care. This commitment to quality service is demonstrated by the
centre-of-excellence that has been set up at the at the UK headquarters
in Teeside, equipped to advise, demonstrate and educate both potential
and existing customers alike.
George Hulme
Position: Area Sales Manager
Involved
with enclosure sales since 1989, George was formally trained as a
mechanical engineer and design draftsman. George joined Fibox in 1997
and is now the area sales manager for the South and the South East,
selling primarily into OEM markets in conjuction with key partner
distributors.
With in-depth materials knowledge and design
acumen, George is able to provide customers of Fibox with a full
understanding of designer's needs and production parameters. With broad
market awareness and marketing experience, George provides the type of
customer management that ensures success, by offering the best product,
the best solutions and the best service in the enclosures marketplace.
Peter Mallinson
Position: Area Sales Manager
With
30 years of field sales experience and 25 years of that within the
enclosures industry, Peter is one of Fibox's area sales managers with a
background that encompasses the lighting manufacturing industry and
electrical product distribution. Peter has an in-depth understanding of
the market drivers affecting the enclsoure industry today.
Managing
a large portfolio of key clients in the Northern England and Scotland
is just one part of Peter's role. Project management, new business
development and strategic marketing planning are also elements that
Peter develops and implements to ensure area and margin targets are
exceeded throughout Fibox's business group.
Geoff Blick
Position: Area Sales Manager
Geoff joined Fibox in early 2010, he has 25 years of field sales experience and 30 years working in the enclosure industry. Previously Geoff has worked for major manufacturers of both plastic and metal enclosures promoting and handling standard and customised projects.
Geoff's responsibility is the Midlands and Wales sales area - this involves maintaining existing accounts, and developing new business within the area, both on standard and customised product. He has a wide experience of dealing with distributors and OEM's, and is able to assess clients needs and provide good customer service in an effort to ensure continued growth.
Ken Knowles
Position: Business Development
As one of the most experienced enclosure specialists in the business, Ken has had over 34 years working in the industry. Previously employed for 10 years as area sales manager for Fibox, covering the North West, West Midlands & Wales - Ken has recently taken partial retirement, and is now involved in business development for the company, along with other administrative duties.
Ken's background encompasses electrical engineering, aircraft
instrumentation, nuclear engineering and the provision of varied
technical services to university laboratories. Ken is a member of the
Institution of Engineering Technology, and an affiliate member of the
Institution of Lighting Engineers. He is also a Chartered Engineer and
holds a Higher National Certificate in Electrical & Electronic
Engineering.
